Camlin Rail – Looking Forward To An Eventful 2022

Rail

This year, Camlin Rail are looking forward to attending in-person events to showcase our unique and innovative offering. Having missed out on previous events with COVID-19, we are hoping for the opportunity to connect with others in the industry and to contribute to the development of the railway of the future.

At Camlin, we are protecting networks and maximising availability, redefining pantograph monitoring with the Pantobot 3D. By adopting a fully automated machine vision system based on stereo vision, the pantograph system allows rail operators to schedule predictive fleet maintenance, dramatically reducing the danger of a damaged pantograph causing overhead line tear-downs that impact directly on operating revenues and service continuity.

We are excited to exhibit, present and attend various events to network and showcase our intelligent solutions. This March, we will be at the North of the Border in Glasgow, which is set to bring together all stakeholders responsible for delivering rail projects throughout Scotland. Our Managing Director, Paul Fleming, will be hosting a presentation on how wayside pantograph monitoring is helping enable a condition-based maintenance strategy, as well as discussing our successful and ongoing Network Rail Projects. In the US, we will be exhibiting at the Transit State of Good Repair in Washington, DC from the 9th – 10th March, where our Product Manager, Philip Heaney, will be hosting a technical presentation specifically showcasing our pantograph monitoring solution, the Pantobot 3D.

In May, we are looking forward to visiting Cologne, Germany for The Rise of IoT & Big Data in Rail event, where Philip will be presenting for the 2nd year in a row – albeit in person, rather than virtual. The conference is set to explore the huge breadth of predictive maintenance as well as asset optimisation applications of big data. Other shows this year include the APTA Rail Conference in San Diego, California and TRACCs Rail Day in Toronto - Canada’s first Outdoor Transit and Rail Exhibition. Towards the end of the year, we’re set to exhibit at InnoTrans in Berlin, the leading international trade fair for transport technology.

We hope to meet you very soon to discover how we can work together to optimise your railway business. Keep up to date with our activity on LinkedIn, follow for further updates and get in touch today to take the journey further at: Camlin Rail
