On Tuesday 21st April 2026, Camlin Group was delighted to welcome guests to our Spring Reception, held in the beautiful surroundings of the Cholmondeley Room and Terrace at the House of Lords, Westminster. The gathering brought together leaders from across the energy sector, government, academia and the wider policy community.
We are grateful to Baroness Foster for sponsoring the event and her warm welcome. We were also honoured to hear from the Rt Hon Hilary Benn MP Secretary of State for Northern Ireland who opened the evening, Bill Esterson MP, Chair of the Energy Security and Net Zero Select Committee who shared his perspective on the current state of the energy sector. Fei Teng of Imperial College London, who provided emerging insights from their new report which will be launched mid-May, on advancing the resiliency and performance of the grid – a project we are proud to have contributed to.
Across the conversations in the room, a clear theme emerged: intelligence and real time visibility will be central to the energy transition, enabling operators to manage risk, accelerate electrification and operate a resilient grid more efficiently.
Camlin Group CEO Peter Cunningham said: “Thank you to all our guests for joining us. Your partnership and collaboration are essential as we collectively navigate the challenges and opportunities of an era defined by electrification, digitalisation and rapid technological change.”
