Transformer Condition Assessment

Our Condition Assessment services provide an in-depth analysis of your assets. Our work helps to define effective strategies to address ongoing maintenance repairs, asset overhaul, and end-of-life asset replacement - enabling you to manage your asset right to the end of the asset life.

When assessing the transformer we take a comprehensive approach by integrating both online (energized) and offline (de-energized) tests. When the transformer is energized, we focus on key operational elements, conducting visual inspections to assess the cooling system and thermal distribution, and checking for any leaks or malfunctions. Once de-energized, we perform an in-depth analysis of the transformer's winding insulation, grounding, and bushing condition.

To ensure a complete and thorough assessment, we review all historical data, maintenance reports, and any online monitoring data to provide a detailed report highlighting operational risk, recommended actions, and where applicable, an estimation of the remaining life.
