US Trade Delegation visit Camlin

We were thrilled to be able to host a delegation from the United States today. Our CEO Peter Cunningham, Chief Technology Officer Adrian Moore, and Strategic Projects Director Emily Paul held productive meetings with the Special US Envoy to Northern Ireland, representatives from the US State Department, and delegates from the Northern Ireland Department for the Economy. Kelvatek's Account Director Jorone Taylor-Lewis also led the delegation on a tour of our Sapient services, highlighting some of the ground-breaking digital services and network optimisation work taking place here at Camlin.

It was a great morning where we discussed our role in facilitating the integration of renewable energies into the grid and the ways in which the UK and US can collaborate and share learnings to accelerate one another’s transition to low-carbon, net-zero energy systems.. We showcased our “Real World, Real Time” approach to grid management, emphasising the role of data analytics and Connected Insights to respond immediately and predict issues to preserve grid resilience and ensure reliable power supply for millions.

We’re excited to continue the dialogue with our US partners and customers and hope to be joined by members of the delegation and US State Department, at our Atlanta opening event in October. The launch will mark a significant milestone in our continuing journey towards building a sustainable energy future, in the UK, US and beyond.
