Camlin Rail are delighted to be attending this year’s EXPO Ferroviaria from the 28^th – 30^th September in Milan. The EXPO, taking place at Fiera Milano Rho, covers all aspects of railway technology and we cannot wait to connect in person with customers and suppliers alike. It’s been a while since we’ve been able to safely exhibit our products and services, and we are looking forward to sharing our unique product offering.

The exhibition will be a showcase for a range suppliers and Camlin Rail will be exhibiting the world’s first fully automated three-dimensional wayside pantograph inspection and monitoring system, the Pantobot 3D. Successfully deployed by rail operators across Europe, North America and Asia, Pantobot 3D uses advanced imaging and machine learning to assess pantograph condition – safely, in real-time and without the need to withdraw trains from service.

Our wayside pantograph monitoring system allows infrastructure owners and Network Operators to see the full picture of the pantograph condition, to help optimise maintenance schedules and maximise rolling stock fleet availability. Flexibly deployed, the Pantobot 3D can be installed in either wayside or overhead mounting frame (OMF) configuration – or a combination of the two – to suit railway operators’ requirements.
